Sabrina Salerno (born on 15 March 1968) in Genoa, Italy is a popular Italian singer and also model, dancer and producer. She is also an actress who has appeared in a number of European TV series, movies and theatre. In 1989 she appeared in the film Fratelli d’Italia with Jerry Calà and in 2005 she won the best actress critics awards for the film “Colori” at the famous Italian Salerno´s Cinema Festival.
She initially used the single-name credit Sabrina under which she had very popular hits in the late 1980s such as “Boys”, “Hot Girl”, “Sexy Girl”, “Like a yoyo”, “All of me” (produced by Stock Aitken & Waterman) and “My Chico”. For more recent recordings, she is now using her full name Sabrina Salerno and she had a lot of popular hits all over the world like “Maschio Dove Sei”, “Fatta e rifatta”, “Siamo Donne”, “I Love you”, “Rockawillie” and “Angel Boy”.
At the height of her career, Sabrina entered into a well-publicized “feud” with UK topless model-turned-singer Samantha Fox. Magazines such as Playboy played up the “war of words” between the two over who was the sexier singer. There’s no evidence to suggest that this was anything more than a publicity stunt.

The Weather Girls were an American girl group whose members were Martha Wash and Izora Armstead. They are best known for their 1982 hit “It’s Raining Men”. They were previously known as Two Tons O’ Fun, under which name they recorded the number 2 American Billboard Disco chart hit “Earth Can Be Just Like Heaven” (1980) and the number 29 American R&B chart hit “Just Us” (1980). They also backed Sylvester.
In addition, Wash recorded various other hit singles under her own name and as a (sometimes uncredited) vocalist for such artists as Black Box and C+C Music Factory.
I like one hit wonders because those who had at least one hit have done more in music than most of us. So big respect!
We'll try to rescue the hits that didn't last as long as they wished.
